2010 – 2013
Lycopodium Minerals
- Client Rio Tinto
Project Value – $1billion
Provided construction management services for the finalization of DES and site Geotechnical survey for overland convey (20Klm) on the Western Turner Syncline (WTS). This included a primary crusher, ancillary equipment, infrastructure and integration into existing mine and plant operations. Responsible for the review and development of constructability plans, tenders and construction execution plan for implementation.
2009
H&M Engineering and Construction Pty Ltd
- Project valued at $45 million
- Client – NCIG
- Project behind schedule at time of appointment
- Prepared claim for EoT and costs.
Provided project management services for the new wharf construction in Newcastle Harbor for coal export. The project was 60% complete when P&J Project Services was appointed to manage the project. Outstanding works at the time included the finalization of fabrication, protective coating and delivery to site, construction, QA, testing and commissioning and handover to the client.

WorleyParsons Pty Ltd
- Project valued at $1.8 Billion.
- Client – Karara Mining Limited (KML) Gindalbie Metals
- Valued engineered design to save client $12mil/pa in operation costs.
- Developed the construction plan and implemented plan
- Ensured the client achieved statutory compliance
P&J Project Services managed the construction of Iron Ore (Hematite & Magnetite) storage and handling facilities in the mid west region of Western Australia. This included, large storage sheds, rail works, rail unloading system, conveyor systems, jetty ship-loader and amenities. This project also incorporated both green and brown field environments.

2007
Calibre Engenium Joint Venture
- Project valued at $1.0 billion
- Client – RIO TINTO
- Appointed Registered mine manager
- Appointed alternate Construction Manager
- Developed the construction plan and implemented plan.
- Ensured the client achieved statutory compliance
P&J Project Services managed the construction of infrastructure for a new open cut iron ore mine in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. This included accommodation and messing buildings, roads, power, water systems, rail bridge (250mt) and track formation works.
2006
SANDVIK Mining and Construction (SMC)
- Project valued at $22 million
- Client – RIO TINTO and KBR was the EPCM.
- Awarded “Excellence in Safety” from RioTinto.
- Completed project on time for commissioning.
- Developed the construction plan and implemented
- Ensured the client achieved statutory compliance
P&J Project Services were contracted to manage the construction of Iron Ore materials handling machines for an upgrade of capacity in an existing mine, YandiCoogina in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. This project included 11,00 tons per hour reclaimer.
After successfully completing the new reclaimer for YandiCoogina, P&J Project Services were contracted to manage the construction of the 3 new machines for Rio Tinto at a new mine development in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia at Hope Downs.
The stackers were capable of 5,000 tons per hour and the reclaimer could reclaim at 11,ooo tons per hour.
